Neo4j graph database technology
Neo4j is a graph database management system, renowned for its ability to map and query complex relationships efficiently. It uses nodes, edges, and properties to represent and store data. Its graph-based structure allows for high-performance queries on large datasets, making it ideal for applications in social networking, fraud detection, real-time recommendations, and more. Neo4j offers flexibility and powerful data relationship analysis.
Our work process
Data about 3,500+ producers were collected and entered manually from 50+ established printed sources. Data about 9,400 streets and 134,000 houses were imported from existing databases and enriched manually.
A schema (left) was established and data were imported. Two user interfaces were created: ReadOnly and Read/Write.
This website was launched.
Manual data entry continues.
Collaboration with archives, heritage libraries and data aggregators will be established to link TAPITTA with their online datasets by means of Linked Open Data.
An AI interface will be created to replace manual import from physical sources by machine reading.
